Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding

The department Global Executive and Talent Development is responsible for reaching out to internal and external top talents and executives in an international setting, whilst at the same time managing key entry and development programmes. The unit provides the global framework for systematic talent identification and management, which includes state of the art measures to position Munich Re as an attractive employer. Your placement will be from August 2017 to February 2018. Following a full-time induction phase of at least eight weeks, the internship can also be completed on a part-time basis with a minimum of 16 to 20 hours per week.

  • Design and implementation of HR marketing measures, particularly in the areas of events and social media
  • Further development and realisation of Munich Re career events and possibly a multichannel employer branding campaign
  • Attendance at HR marketing events (career fairs, workshops etc.), including providing assistance with the supervision of the lead agency and other service providers
  • Recruitment, management and organisation of our development and entry programmes
  • Contribution to global direct search activities and collection and analysis of talent and market intelligence
  • Student of social sciences, economics or humanities, ideally having already completed your Bachelor’s degree
  • Initial practical experience in the areas of employer branding, recruiting or talent management
  • Open and communicative manner, enabling you to generate enthusiasm in high-potential candidates for Munich Re
  • Exceptional creativity and affinity for innovative employer communication formats as well as being highly motivated and having the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Interest in insurance/financial services sector, new technologies, digitalisation and innovation
  • Flexibility and resilience to work simultaneously on a number of diverse topics and projects
